‘Presiding over new transitions and beginnings, Janus, Rome’s omnipotent god of the ancient world, had the ability to foresee what lay ahead, whilst still maintaining a watchful eye on the past. Observing everything from birth, harvest moons and seasonal change, the all-seeing deity silently contemplated the universe’s cyclical patterns - as the hands of time swing decisively from alpha to omega and back again…
